On the first day of playing, Quang Duong impressed by going undefeated in 5 consecutive matches, thereby advancing to the finals in all three events including men's singles, men's doubles and mixed doubles. Here, the Vietnamese-born tennis player will compete in a three-set format, each set touching 11 points according to the current leading standards.

“I am very grateful to my teammates who have been with me in this tournament. Although we sometimes encountered many difficulties, this result is really worthy of the efforts over the past 4 days. This is extraordinary. There are some situations that we need to improve but anyway, our victory is completely deserved,” Quang Duong shared on Global Sports channel.
In the men's singles final, Quang Duong showed his devastating form when facing Aditya Ruhela, the hope of the host country. Right from the first set, the Vietnamese-born player quickly dominated, leading 4-1 and then widening the gap to 8-2 before ending the set with a convincing 11-2 victory.
In the second set, the same scenario continued. Quang Duong maintained his dominant position, creating a safe gap of 5-2, then 7-2 and ending the match with a score of 10-3. This victory helped Quang excellently win the first championship in the tournament, thereby affirming his class and talent.
After an overwhelming victory in the men's singles, 19-year-old Quang Duong continued to enter the mixed doubles final, teaming up with his former teammate from Team Selkirk - Emilia Schmidt - a familiar face on the US APP system. Their opponents were the pair Ryler and Megan.
The Quang Duong - Emilia Schmidt pair won the first set. However, in the second set, Emilia started making many mistakes, while Quang Duong was also caught by his opponent and could not create the shots he wanted. This helped Ryler and Megan win 11-7, bringing the final match into the deciding set.
Set 3 witnessed a point-by-point tug-of-war between the two couples. When the score was 8-8, Emilia showed signs of fatigue, she continuously made mistakes. Although Quang Duong tried very hard to "carry her teammate", when her opponent continuously poured the ball towards the American female tennis player, she could not defend effectively. In the end, the Quang Duong - Emilia pair lost 9-11, sadly watching the championship slip away from their grasp.
In the men's doubles final, Quang teamed up with Harsh Mehta, the men's doubles champion of the Panas Malaysia Open 2025 under the PPA Tour Asia. He faced the pair Rob Nunnery - Ryler. In this match, the Vietnamese-born player and his teammates coordinated well, with their technical play combined with agility, helping them win 2-0, bringing Quang Duong his second championship title.

“To be honest, winning the men’s doubles was a bit of a fluke. Rob Nunnery had a slow start because he hadn’t played a match all day, which gave me the chance to dominate and win the first set.
The second set was tense, Rob started to get used to the pace of the match and he scored decisive points. However, my teammate played solidly and quickly to win convincingly. It was great, I will never forget this day", Quang Duong shared after the end of the men's doubles final.
The Monsoon Pickleball Championship 3.0 will take place from July 31 to August 3 in Navi Mumbai, India. This exciting sporting event will bring together more than 800 players from many places with a total prize pool of up to 60,000 USD (equivalent to more than 1.5 billion VND).
This resounding victory is not only a clear demonstration of Quang Duong's superior class, but also has great significance in raising the position of Vietnamese pickleball on the world map.
