Quang Nam: The location where the Vu Hung guerrilla team was founded is ranked as a provincial historical relic.

On the morning of December 12 , in Tam Quang commune, Nui Thanh district, the provincial-level historical relic was announced and received the certificate of ranking as a historical relic for the " Historical relic of the founding site of the Vu Hung Guerrilla Team, the predecessor of the armed forces of Quang Nam province".

Vu Hung Guerrilla Team was established on May 4, 1945 at Mrs. Tron's house, now Sam Linh Tay village, Tam Quang commune, Nui Thanh district. On the first day of establishment, Vu Hung Guerrilla Team had 30 members with comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tan as team leader. This was an important event in the process of leading and directing the revolutionary movement of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee at that time.

From the Vu Hung guerrilla team, the armed forces of Quang Nam province have continuously grown in terms of numbers, improved military organization, political quality, technical and tactical level, combat readiness and have made outstanding contributions to the cause of national liberation struggle, building and defending the Fatherland. That has been demonstrated through resounding victories from the August Revolution in 1945 to the resistance wars against French colonialism and American invaders.

After 80 years of building and fighting, the location where the Vu Hung Guerrilla Team was founded has become an important historical site for the local armed forces and people.

Awarding the Provincial Historical Relic ranking certificate for "Historical relic of the founding site of Vu Hung Guerrilla Team, the predecessor of the armed forces of Quang Nam province"

Recognizing the great historical significance of the relic, on November 20, 2024, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province decided to recognize and classify as a provincial-level historical relic the location of the establishment of the Vu Hung guerrilla team, the predecessor of the armed forces of Quang Nam province.
