Quang Nam surveys job demand after administrative streamlining

The Department of Home Affairs has just sent an official dispatch to departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to survey the work needs at enterprises of part-time workers at the commune level, civil servants, public employees and workers after quitting their jobs or retiring before the age due to the rearrangement of the organizational apparatus and administrative units.

According to the established policy, from August 1, 2025, many positions of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers subject to streamlining will end their duties. Notably, the termination of the use of non-professional workers at the commune level is one of the major changes in administrative organization at the grassroots level.

Faced with this situation, the Department of Home Affairs recommends that agencies, units, and localities increase information, propaganda, and encourage affected subjects to proactively seek or create jobs that suit their abilities and personal needs.

In the orientation of supporting reintegration into the labor market, the Department of Home Affairs emphasizes the role of official recruitment channels such as: The job information portal of the Quang Nam Employment Service Center at vieclamquangnam.gov.vn; job exchanges inside and outside the province; the system of enterprises and units with the function of sending workers to work abroad under contracts.

In particular, to have a basis for connecting with businesses in recruiting and arranging new jobs, the Department of Home Affairs requires agencies and localities to urgently review and synthesize the needs of laid-off subjects and report to the department before June 17, 2025.
