Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee authorized the People's Committee of Hoi An City to issue a decision to reclaim old state-owned houses used for rental purposes in Hoi An City; issue a decision to enforce the repossession and organize the enforcement of the repossession in accordance with the order and procedures prescribed by current laws.

The authorization period is effective until June 30, 2025 (the end date of the district-level government organization).

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Hoi An City to organize the recovery and enforcement of old state-owned houses used for rental purposes in cases where the conditions for continued rental are no longer met according to the provisions of Article 127 of the 2023 Housing Law and related regulations.

The city shall publicly post the list of cases subject to repossession; organize dialogues and explain policies; ensure security and order during the enforcement process (if any). At the same time, prepare, report and submit a plan for management and use of houses after repossession according to current regulations.
