Quang Ninh explodes with concerts, creating a "boost" for tourism and night-time economy

(Dan Tri) - Large-scale concerts continuously held in Quang Ninh are creating strong attraction, contributing to promoting the night-time economy, extending the length of stay and positioning the province as a dynamic cultural industrial center.

Over the years, Quang Ninh has continuously innovated and transformed itself to become a land of large-scale cultural and tourism events. Based on the foundation of the World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay and the Yen Tu scenic relic site, the locality is aiming for a further goal: to build a center of cultural and creative industries in the region. In this strategy, concerts and music events are considered an important lever, creating a new driving force for tourism and the service economy .

Recently, the province has continuously attracted attention with two major events: "Ha Long Concert 2025 - Heritage Spirit, Bright Future" and the program "Quang Ninh - Heroic Mining Land" taking place on the evening of November 12. Within just two weeks, tens of thousands of people and tourists flocked to the venues, creating a vibrant atmosphere rarely seen at the end of the year.

The program “Quang Ninh – Heroic Mining Land” is the highlight of a series of activities to celebrate the 89th anniversary of the Mining Workers’ Traditional Day (November 12, 1936 - November 12, 2025). The event attracted more than 30,000 viewers and was broadcast on many digital platforms, bringing together many famous artists such as People’s Artist Quang Tho, Trong Tan, Ho Ngoc Ha, Den Vau, Hoang Thuy Linh. This is not only a spiritual gift to thank the mining workers but also a way to honor the values ​​of “discipline and unity” - the core identity of the coal land.

Nguyen Phong, a coal worker, shared his pride in attending such a large-scale concert for the first time. He said the program brought many emotions and hoped the event would contribute to promoting the image of the indomitable mining region and attracting more tourists to the province.

This is also a direction that suits the new needs of tourists – those who seek experiences associated with identity and emotion.

Not only creating cultural highlights, the concert also brings a strong ripple effect to the night-time economy. The sudden increase in demand for food, accommodation, and transportation during the event days helps the service industry benefit directly. The province expects the series of events from now until the end of the year to contribute to completing the goal of welcoming more than 21 million visitors in 2025.

Towards the cultural industrial center of the region

Quang Ninh aims to build a diverse cultural industrial ecosystem, in which concerts and festivals act as “magnets” to attract tourists.
