According to Decision No. 3398/QD-UBND dated August 31, 2017, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province recognized 5 new tourist destinations in Cam Pha city, including:
Cua Ong Temple historical and cultural relic site (Cua Ong ward): A famous spiritual destination, a place to worship Duc Ong Tran Quoc Tang - a general of the Tran dynasty who made great contributions in keeping the Northeast region peaceful.
Vung Duc historical relic and scenic area (Cam Dong ward): Associated with unique natural values and historical and cultural vestiges, Vung Duc possesses a landscape of caves, beaches and mountain forest ecosystems, an attractive destination for discovery and ecological tourism.
Geological hot spring center (Cam Thach ward): Assessed to have potential for exploiting health care, rehabilitation and resort tourism thanks to its rare mineral resources.
Quang Hong Beach (Cam Son Ward): This is a natural beach that is being focused on investing in infrastructure development, serving the sea tourism needs of residents and tourists.
Luong Ngoc Beach (Quang Hanh Ward): Located near Quang Hanh mineral spring area, this area has the advantage of synchronously developing various types of resort tourism, health care combined with sea tourism.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Cam Pha City People's Committee to preside over the development of plans for the management, exploitation and development of the above-mentioned tourist attractions, while ensuring environmental protection, preservation of landscapes and values of relics and scenic spots. These plans must be appraised and approved in accordance with regulations before being deployed to serve tourists.
The Department of Tourism of Quang Ninh province is responsible for coordinating with relevant units to provide professional guidance, support promotion and supervision of the activities of newly recognized tourist destinations, in order to ensure sustainable and oriented development.
The recognition of five new tourist destinations in Cam Pha city not only contributes to diversifying tourism products of Quang Ninh province but also creates momentum to promote socio-economic development, create jobs for people and promote local cultural and historical values.
