On June 4, Da Nang City Police issued a warning about fraudulent sales of tours, hotel reservations, airline tickets, and tickets to watch the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival.
After the opening night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2025) on May 31, there were cases of people faking websites or fanpages of reputable travel companies, even faking the official information page of DIFF 2025.
According to Da Nang police, taking advantage of the heat from this event, many high-tech criminals have used cyberspace to commit fraud and appropriate property with very sophisticated and organized tricks.
Currently, the common scam methods that criminals often use include fake ads selling tours, fireworks tickets, and hotel rooms at cheap prices.
Specifically, the subjects posted advertisements on social networks, inviting to buy tours, fireworks tickets, or book hotel rooms at preferential prices. Then, they asked the buyer to transfer a deposit of 30 - 50% of the total value.
Upon receiving the money, the subjects used the victim's lack of information as an excuse to refuse to return it, or cut off contact completely.
To avoid being scammed, the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention of Da Nang City Police recommends that people and tourists should only book tours, hotel rooms, airline tickets, and tickets to see DIFF 2025 at reputable units, with clear business licenses, full certificates of guarantee, and positive reviews from the user community.
In particular, do not transfer deposits to individuals or organizations that are unclear or suspicious, especially through channels or social networks.
In addition, people should be cautious with promotions and incentives that are too high compared to the market. Prioritize using official booking and ticketing platforms, guaranteed by competent authorities.
"In case of detecting unusual behavior or suspecting fraud, it is necessary to quickly notify the nearest police agency for support," the police announcement stated.

Tang Duy Tan appeared on the fireworks stage
On June 4, the DIFF 2025 Organizing Committee said that on the second night of the fireworks festival (June 27), the fireworks stage will bring a creative space. Especially when gathering young faces who are making their own mark in the music market.
Tang Duy Tan - an artist and producer known for his modern musical style - will perform with violinist Trinh Minh Hien, creating a combination of electronic pop and symphonic music.
There are also young singers such as Muoi, Nam Son, Hoang Long contributing to stirring up the stage, alongside two international artists Nath Ottaviano and Lucas Carrillo.
