In Phu Loc, Phu Thanh, Tan Hung, Phu Hung and Lai Hung neighborhoods of Ben Cat ward, the delegation surveyed the drainage system, ditches, and roads that often experience localized flooding during the rainy season.

The delegation also listened to people's feedback and recommendations on drainage and flooding affecting daily life and traffic safety.

Through the survey, the delegation noted that some areas have degraded drainage systems, are filled up or not connected synchronously, causing water stagnation during prolonged heavy rains.

Chairwoman of Ben Cat Ward People's Committee Tran Thi Thao requested specialized departments to coordinate with the neighborhood to specifically review each flooded location, determine the cause, and propose immediate and long-term solutions.

The Chairman of the Ward People's Committee emphasized the need to prioritize handling flooded areas that directly affect people's lives, while at the same time strengthening propaganda and mobilizing people to raise awareness of environmental hygiene, not littering in sewers, contributing to ensuring the drainage system operates effectively.

Through the survey, Ben Cat ward will develop a plan to invest, repair and upgrade drainage infrastructure, aiming to improve living conditions, environment and urban appearance of the ward in the coming time.
