Parents were instructed on safe driving skills, including: wearing helmets with the chin strap properly fastened; safe motorcycle riding posture; emergency braking techniques; and participation in driving simulations. This helped raise awareness among students and parents about the mandatory requirement to wear helmets that meet national technical standards when riding motorcycles, scooters, and electric bicycles, thereby minimizing traffic accidents involving children.
The program also contributes to achieving the goal of ensuring that by 2030, 100% of children wear standard helmets when riding motorcycles, scooters, or electric bicycles. Specifically, in the 2025-2026 school year, 100% of first-grade students throughout the province will receive standard helmets.
