Tomorrow, September 5, students across the country will begin the new school year 2025-2026 in a historic opening ceremony. This is the first year that the opening ceremony will no longer be held in 63 provinces and cities as before, but will only be concentrated at the National Convention Center (Hanoi) and connected online to 34 provinces and cities across the country, including Quang Ninh. The event also celebrates the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training), which has profound significance for the education sector and the whole society.

In Quang Ninh, the Department of Education and Training has coordinated with localities to urgently and carefully carry out preparations to be ready to connect online to each educational institution, from kindergarten to university. Schools in the province are instructed to unify the opening ceremony program, ensuring solemnity, safety, economy and suitability to actual conditions. Transmission lines, technical equipment, and IT infrastructure are carefully reviewed and checked to ensure that this important event takes place smoothly and without interruption.

Up to this point, the rate of schools meeting national standards in the province has reached 92.07%, an increase of 0.16% compared to 2024, and is expected to increase to over 92.5% by the end of 2025. The provincial education sector continues to maintain and expand the rate of students studying 2 sessions/day; organize many training courses, seminars, and foster pedagogical capacity, meeting the requirements of innovation in teaching content and methods. Educational institutions actively renovate campuses, review and improve school safety conditions, ready to welcome students into the new school year in an atmosphere of excitement, trust and determination.
