On the afternoon of November 21, in Quang Tri province, the Supreme People's Procuracy held a ceremony to announce and hand over the decision to appoint the Chief Prosecutor of the Provincial People's Procuracy.
According to the decision, Mr. Ho Thanh Hai, Senior Prosecutor, Chief Prosecutor of Hue City People's Procuracy, was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Chief Prosecutor of Quang Tri Provincial People's Procuracy, with a term of appointment of 5 years from November 20, 2025.
In his speech assigning tasks, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy Nguyen Duy Giang acknowledged and highly appreciated the working process, efforts and contributions of Mr. Ho Thanh Hai during many years working at the People's Procuracy of the former Thua Thien- Hue province, directly at the People's Procuracy of Hue city.
The Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy requested the new Chief Prosecutor of the Provincial People's Procuracy to quickly approach and grasp the situation, stabilize the organization, effectively implement the key tasks of the industry; continue to train the political mettle and ethical qualities of prosecutors.
The Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy emphasized the need to promote the exemplary role of leaders; build clean and strong units; strengthen discipline and order in public service activities; focus on personnel work and preventing and combating negativity within the organization; review and improve personnel and strengthen forces for units and difficult areas; and proactively advise Party committees and authorities in the fight against corruption and negativity.
Deputy Director Nguyen Duy Giang believes that Mr. Ho Thanh Hai and the unit will unite, innovate, and improve the quality of prosecution work to meet the requirements of the new period.
On behalf of the leaders of Quang Tri province, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang congratulated Mr. Ho Thanh Hai and hoped that the Provincial People's Procuracy would continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and closely coordinate with functional agencies in the fight against crime and law violations, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the area. The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested the Supreme People's Procuracy to continue to pay attention and create favorable conditions for the Provincial Procuracy to successfully complete its assigned tasks.
In his acceptance speech, Mr. Ho Thanh Hai thanked the leaders of the Supreme People's Procuracy and the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for their trust and affirmed that he will strive to promote his capacity, intelligence, and enthusiasm; maintain the qualities of a prosecutor; strengthen his responsibility to set an example; unite with the collective unit to innovate and be creative, excellently complete assigned tasks, and contribute to building the Provincial People's Procuracy to become increasingly stronger.
On the same day, the Supreme People's Procuracy also announced the decisions on transfer and appointment: Mr. Nguyen Tien Hung, Senior Prosecutor, Director of the People's Procuracy of Quang Tri province, to hold the position of Director of the People's Procuracy of Hue city and Mr. Nguyen Truong, Deputy Director of the People's Procuracy of Quang Tri province, to hold the position of Deputy Director of the People's Procuracy of Hue city./.
