Early morning of November 11, Roon Border Guard Station ( Quang Tri Border Guard) said that Hon La Port Border Guard Station received 7 crew members of fishing boat TH-90073-TS in safe condition.

Previously, at around 11:30 a.m. on November 10, fishing boat TH-90073-TS with 7 fishermen, captained by Mr. Le Cong Dung (born in 1980, residing in Ngoc Son ward, Thanh Hoa province), sank at coordinates 17°54'N - 106°34'E, about 3 nautical miles east of Hon La port.
Detecting the distress signal, fishing boat TH-91812-TS of Mr. Le Cong Hau promptly approached, brought all 7 fishermen safely on board and reported to the Border Guard Station of Hon La port.

Roon Border Guard Station received and sent military doctors to examine and take care of the sailors' health.
Captain Le Cong Dung recounted: “When the ship discovered that water had flooded more than half of its hull, the crew only had time to put on life jackets and leave the ship. A few minutes later, the ship sank completely. Luckily, we were rescued by a friendly ship.”
Currently, the health of the 7 fishermen is stable.
