The National Assembly met on personnel work this afternoon.

(Dan Tri) - According to the meeting agenda, on the afternoon of October 24, the National Assembly will meet separately to consider and decide on personnel work within its authority.

Previously, the Central Committee had given opinions on personnel for the Politburo to introduce to the National Assembly to elect the Secretary General of the National Assembly; 2 Committee Chairmen and approve the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister at the 10th session.

At the press conference before the session, Vice Chairwoman of the Delegation Affairs Committee Ta Thi Yen said that based on the decision of the Central Executive Committee and the submission of competent agencies, the National Assembly will consider and decide on a number of personnel matters within its authority.

This is a regular process to ensure the continuity, stability and efficiency of the apparatus in the new situation.

The entire personnel process is conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and the law, ensuring democracy, objectivity and transparency.

National Assembly deputies exercise their rights and responsibilities before the people through secret ballot, ensuring the principle of democratic centralism and proper authority.

Personnel work will continue on October 25.
