According to the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the 16th National Assembly will have 500 delegates, of which female delegates will account for at least 35%, ethnic minority delegates 18% and delegates under 40 years old about 10%.

According to the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the 16th National Assembly is expected to have 500 delegates, including 217 delegates at the central level and 283 delegates at the local level. Of which, Party agencies have 10 delegates; the Presidential agency 3; National Assembly agencies 145; the Government and Government agencies 15; the Ministry of National Defense 13; the Ministry of Public Security 3; the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy and the State Audit Office each have 1; the Vietnam Fatherland Front 25 delegates.

At the local level, the orientation structure has 179 delegates (35.8%) including key leaders, full-time delegates, representatives of the Front, religion, army, police, judiciary, education , research, enterprises...; the guidance structure has 104 delegates (20.8%) in the fields of science, culture, health, education, personalities, and intellectuals.

The resolution also requires ensuring the proportion of women is at least 35%, ethnic minorities 18%, and young delegates under 40 years old about 10%. Each province and city has at least 7 delegates, of which 4 reside and work locally./.
