NDO - On March 26, Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee held the 21st Provincial Party Executive Committee Conference, term 2020-2025, to review the first quarter's work and set out directions and tasks for the second quarter of 2025.

In the first quarter of 2025, the province's economic growth rate (GRDP) is estimated at 8.97%; the economic structure continues to shift in the right direction. Industrial production, trade, and services grow rapidly; agriculture develops comprehensively, creating jobs and increasing income for agricultural and rural workers.

Production and business activities in most areas of the province have grown well. Retail sales of goods and consumer services increased by 18.31%; industrial production value increased by 11.54%; total social investment capital increased by 6.03% over the same period. The work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province has so far started construction of 1,045/1,475 houses, reaching 70.8% of the plan...

The work of perfecting, arranging and streamlining the organizational apparatus of agencies and units in the political system in the province has been deployed and implemented. The conclusions of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat on the work of arranging and streamlining the organizational apparatus and personnel work have been ensured to be implemented in accordance with the time, content, progress, procedures and regulations of the Central Committee.

In addition, the province has also developed projects to reorganize and streamline the apparatus and organized conferences to synchronously implement decisions of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on ending operations, establishing new party organizations, and merging agencies and units.
