Launching the book "135 stories about Uncle Ho" and the gallery of books about Uncle Ho

The book “135 years of stories about Uncle Ho” gathers authentic and profound stories, recorded from the memories of cadres, soldiers and compatriots who were fortunate enough to live, work and study close to Uncle Ho.

Within the framework of the series of activities to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh , on May 16, the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace organized the launch of the book "135 years of stories about Uncle Ho."

The book was compiled and published by the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace in collaboration with the Vietnam News Agency Publishing House (VNA).

This is an activity in response to the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025); 50 years of the liberation of the South and national reunification (1975-2025) and 80 years of the successful August Revolution (1945-2025); at the same time, continuing to implement the Politburo 's Directives and topics on studying and following the example, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh.

President Ho Chi Minh - the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people, is forever a shining example of patriotism, pure international spirit and exemplary revolutionary morality.

His name, career and ideology have become immortal symbols, associated with the glorious history of the nation, with heroic feats in the struggle for independence, freedom and national unification.

His life is an immortal epic, a great crystallization of intelligence, bravery and Vietnamese soul, lighting the way for our nation to move forward.

The book “135 years of stories about Uncle Ho” gathers authentic, simple yet profound stories, recorded from the memories of cadres, soldiers and compatriots who were fortunate enough to live, work and study close to Uncle Ho during the period 1954-1969.

The story begins with Uncle Ho advising the soldiers: "The Hung Kings built the country, we must work together to protect it," and ends with the story of Uncle Ho's last moments in 1969.

Through each page of the book, the image of the beloved leader appears both realistic and vivid: A leader who loved his compatriots and comrades all his life; always considerate and humble; strict but full of compassion.

“He is a Father, an Uncle, an Elder Brother” with an extremely modest and simple lifestyle. There are few leaders whose image remains in the minds of the people so close and simple.

Uncle Ho is not only a great example of a great man, a great revolutionary leader, but he also exudes a simple, modest, and approachable image that everyone can learn from and follow to become a revolutionary and a good citizen in society.

Each story and memory in the book not only reflects and recreates the simple and noble life of Uncle Ho, but also contains invaluable lessons about revolutionary ethics, his lifestyle and great personality.

These are also profound lessons that help each of us, especially today's young generation, continue to follow Uncle Ho's example, firmly on the journey to build a socialist Vietnam, a rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness, civilization, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers as he always wished.

In particular, in this edition, the book is supplemented with 24 new stories collected and recorded by the staff of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace from the direct accounts of historical witnesses, while 40 other stories are edited and revised, making the book's content richer, deeper and more complete.

Along with the book launch “135 years of stories about Uncle Ho,” on this occasion, the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace also launched a book exhibition room about President Ho Chi Minh in the Relic Site space, introducing and preserving hundreds of valuable books about his life, career, ideology, morality and style. This is a place where valuable research works, touching stories, and pages of books imbued with love and respect for President Ho Chi Minh converge.

The exhibition room is arranged solemnly and scientifically , creating favorable conditions for cadres, party members, people and domestic and foreign tourists to learn more deeply about the ideological heritage, moral example and simple but noble style of President Ho Chi Minh.

Through this meaningful space, the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace wishes to contribute to spreading the great values ​​of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, fostering national pride, arousing the will to rise up and encouraging the young generation to study and follow Uncle Ho's example, contributing to building the country to become increasingly rich and prosperous as he wished./.
