Launching the digital ecosystem of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City

Speaking at the Conference, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation Le Tien Chau said that Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo identified science, technology, innovation and digital transformation as key driving forces to enhance national competitiveness and develop the economy rapidly and sustainably. The city clearly defined its goal of striving to become the country's leading center for industry, seaports, logistics, services, education - training, science - technology, innovation; and a growth pole of the Northern region and the whole country.

To realize that goal, in addition to the drastic participation of Party committees and authorities at all levels, it is necessary to strongly promote the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in creating social consensus, strengthening people's trust, and spreading development aspirations.

“ Hai Phong clearly identifies that digital transformation is not just a matter of technology, but a comprehensive revolution in thinking, organizational model and method of action, a bridge connecting the government with the people through transparency, connectivity and systematization,” emphasized Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau.

The Secretary stated that the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations must be the core force, promoting the spirit of initiative and creativity in spreading, encouraging and mobilizing the people to join in responding to this movement.

​To effectively implement digital transformation, the Secretary of the City Party Committee also requested that the Front system must identify digital transformation as a key, consistent political task, a continuous, long-term investment process. It is necessary to have political determination, consensus from leaders at all levels, the participation of cadres and party members, especially the role of the leader is an important factor that has a great influence on the success of digital transformation.

Along with that, promote propaganda work with creative forms, effectively combining tradition and modernity. In order to bring the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo and Action Program 89-CTr/TU of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to every cadre and every citizen in an easy-to-understand, easy-to-remember, easy-to-do manner.

Continue to research, develop, perfect and pilot the models of the Digital Ecosystem from the city to the grassroots, closely coordinate with relevant departments and branches, ensure the implementation is substantive, reflecting the quality of management of the organization, avoiding formalities and taking the effectiveness of serving the people as the highest measure. It is necessary to assign tasks to people clearly, with progress and regularly and periodically organize reviews, updates, and evaluations of the implementation to draw lessons, thereby continuing to supplement and perfect, meeting practical requirements.

At the conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City also launched the digital ecosystem.
