The launching ceremony of the House of Wisdom was held on the morning of April 20. Attending the ceremony were Chairman of the People's Committee of Duc Pho Town Bui Van Ly; leaders of units, departments, offices, and schools in Duc Pho Town; Doctor Hoang Van - Vice President of the Duc Pho Association in Ho Chi Minh City; Colonel Huynh Quang Tam - Head of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City, representatives of the Lifelong Learning Institute, the Humanitarian Bookcase - House of Wisdom program.

The program also has the participation of Miss Earth 2020 Thai Thi Hoa; organizations, individuals, businesses inside and outside the province, along with teachers and students of the school.
The Nguyen Nghiem Primary School's Wisdom House was established thanks to the financial support of the Duc Pho Association in Ho Chi Minh City; agencies, businesses and parents of the school's students, with a total amount of more than 110 million VND.

At the launching ceremony, Dr. Hoang Van and Colonel Huynh Quang Tam and other benefactors donated 15 bookcases, worth 30 million VND, to the Wisdom House of Nguyen Nghiem Primary School.
This is a precious gift, bringing a treasure trove of knowledge, as well as supporting the teaching and learning of teachers and students of Nguyen Nghiem Primary School. At the same time, it strengthens the passion for reading and discovering knowledge for students.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Dr. Hoang Van - Vice President of Duc Pho Association in Ho Chi Minh City shared that Duc Pho people in Ho Chi Minh City always turn to their homeland, not only through activities of building charity houses, granting scholarships to poor students who overcome difficulties, but also especially valuing the role ofeducation and books for students.
Every year, the Duc Pho Association in Ho Chi Minh City still donates hundreds of Charity Bookcases to schools in Quang Ngai, especially replicating the Wisdom House model to contribute to creating meaningful learning spaces for schools and communities.

Principal of Nguyen Nghiem Primary School, Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, on behalf of the teachers and students of the school, expressed his deep gratitude to the Duc Pho Association in Ho Chi Minh City, along with the units, businesses and parents who have shown their interest in donating the Wisdom House to the school.
“The school’s Board of Directors has been thinking about this model for 2 years now. From the idea of an open library for students to connecting with the founders of the House of Wisdom; it has helped us to be determined to build a friendly learning environment, where students can not only easily access knowledge through books but also through cultural and educational exchange activities and creative experiences. The establishment of the House of Wisdom at Nguyen Nghiem Primary School will contribute to improving the reading culture, inspiring learning and creating conditions for students to develop comprehensive qualities and skills,” said Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan.

The Compassionate Bookcase and the Wisdom House are two philanthropic programs in the fields of culture and education; focusing on creating, maintaining and developing communities of reading, self-study and lifelong learning completely free of charge.
To date, the Humanitarian Bookcase Program has mobilized and donated, building a network of more than 22,800 bookcases with more than 1.2 million books in more than 3,600 schools and residential communities in all 63 provinces and cities nationwide and some provinces in the Lao People's Democratic Republic. Wisdom House has built and maintained more than 350 lifelong learning spaces in Vietnam, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the United States.
