Speaking at the opening ceremony of the North Central Representative Office, journalist Tran Tuan Linh - Editor-in-Chief of Health & Life Newspaper stated: For many years, reporters of Health & Life Newspaper and Family and Society Newspaper have been present and operated effectively in the North Central region, contributing to the dissemination of Party policies and State laws, as well as information on the activities of the health sector in the area, contributing to being a bridge of information between the locality and the Central region.
According to Decision 3535/QD-BYT dated July 21, 2021 of the Minister of Health , Health & Life Newspaper and Family and Society Newspaper have merged and consolidated their apparatus. To meet the development needs and better serve readers, Health & Life Newspaper has decided to establish a North Central Representative Office, headquartered in Vinh city, Nghe An, monitoring the area from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien - Hue.
“ With the establishment of the North Central Representative Office, Health & Life Newspaper hopes to better convey information about local achievements and results, spread good things, as well as provide information reflecting society, helping management agencies better grasp the local situation. The North Central Representative Office of Health & Life Newspaper will continue to better serve readers and local state management agencies, providing accurate and timely information, reflecting the economic - political , cultural - social situation in the area, while focusing on propaganda work, providing knowledge to care for, protect and improve people's health... ”, Editor-in-Chief Tran Tuan Linh emphasized.
Editor-in-Chief Tran Tuan Linh presented the decision to journalist Tu Thanh and journalist Pham Minh Thuy.
At the ceremony, the Newspaper also announced the Editor-in-Chief's decision to assign journalist Tu Thanh to be in charge of the Representative Office, and journalist Pham Minh Thuy to be the editorial secretary.
Leaders of Nghe An province and Health & Life Newspaper presented gifts to poor patients.
On this occasion, Health & Life Newspaper coordinated with units and businesses to present 100 gifts, each worth VND 1 million (including VND 500,000 in cash and health care and support products) to disadvantaged patients receiving treatment at hospitals in Vinh city and Nghi Xuan district (Ha Tinh).
Representatives of medical units received 70 gifts given to patients.
In addition, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union - Ministry of Health and Health & Life Newspaper also donated 10 wheelchairs to Ky Son District Medical Center, Que Phong District Medical Center (Nghe An), Duc Tho District General Hospital, and Huong Son District Medical Center (Ha Tinh).
