Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien emphasized that the North Central region, including the provinces and cities of Quang Tri, Hue, Ha Tinh, Nghe An, and Thanh Hoa, has a special strategic position, located between the two key economic regions of the country, the North and the Central.
With increasingly improved transport infrastructure, seaports and airports, this region is becoming a convenient transit point, effectively connecting with major markets and dynamic economies in Asia such as Japan, China, Thailand and ASEAN countries. The North Central region also has many factors to develop into an important production - consumption center in the global value chain.

The North Central provinces possess diverse resources, abundant raw materials and high-quality products with strong regional identity. However, in order for these products to reach the international market, there needs to be a close connection between manufacturers - suppliers - global professional distribution systems.
This conference is an opportunity for businesses to directly meet, exchange information, learn about needs, and promote trade cooperation. At the same time, the event also demonstrates Quang Tri province's determination to accompany businesses, support the construction of value chains, create favorable conditions for trade promotion activities and expand exports.

At the conference, delegates watched a video clip introducing typical products and services of provinces/cities and businesses in the North Central region. Discussions were held to enhance cooperation and connection between production units in the North Central region and foreign purchasing, distribution, import-export enterprises; B2B direct connection program; and signing of memorandums of understanding/cooperation agreements between suppliers and foreign purchasing, distribution, import-export enterprises.
The conference was organized to create an effective bridge between manufacturing enterprises in the North Central provinces and distributors and importers from abroad. This is an important opportunity for enterprises to meet, connect, trade, exchange experiences in promoting brands, products, services, and technological innovation to improve production capacity and product quality, contributing to promoting the consumption of goods and expanding bilateral and multilateral trade cooperation in the context of deep international integration.
The event has special significance as this is the first time a large-scale international trade promotion program has been held in Quang Tri after Quang Tri province (old) and Quang Binh province (old) officially merged from July 1, 2025, opening a new phase in regional connectivity, developing export markets and building international trade position for the locality.
