Richard Mille launches super motorbike RMB01, nearly 4 billion VND

Luxury watchmaker Richard Mille recently "joined hands" with handmade motorcycle brand Brough Superior to launch a brand new superbike model called RMB01.

The all-new RMB01 Richard Mille supercar was just introduced at the 2025 Le Mans Classic event in France. Accordingly, the vehicle is limited to only 150 units worldwide.

The RMB01 has dimensions of 2,114 mm in length, 725.5 mm in width, a 1,493 mm wheelbase and a seat height of 808 mm. The vehicle has low handlebars and a forward-leaning seat, similar to the style of high-end sportbike models.

The design of the RMB01 is inspired by classic American racing cars of the early 20th century, combined with a minimalist philosophy and aerodynamic efficiency.

The car has a mechanical dashboard with a dial similar to Richard Mille watches, combined with the car's badge and serial number below.

The front of the car is a seamless block integrating the windshield and aerodynamic spoiler, helping to increase downforce at high speeds. Compared to the AMB 001, the car has been supplemented with LED headlights.

The vehicle has an elongated fuel tank, minimalist saddle and exposed engine, creating the image of a powerful yet modern "mechanized" vehicle thanks to its sophisticated rounded details.

The entire chassis is made from molded carbon fiber, combined with a lightweight alloy exoskeleton to optimize weight and torsional stiffness.

The design highlight that is imbued with the Richard Mille spirit is the 17-inch wheels with mechanical gear patterns, inspired by the tourbillon mechanism in high-end watches. Details such as the axles and brake discs are also crafted in sync with the mechanical layered structure.

Powering the Brough Superior RMB01 is a 997cc, two-cylinder engine made from a monolithic aluminum-magnesium alloy, producing 130 horsepower. The engine is mated to a 6-speed, multi-clutch, hydraulic cassette gearbox, which has been added with an anti-slip feature.

The front suspension is designed by Fior, including double triangular links, CNC machined from aluminum and allowing for compression and rebound adjustment with 85 mm of travel. Meanwhile, the rear suspension uses CNC aluminum swingarms connected directly to the engine block, helping to reduce weight and increase rigidity. The rear suspension is a fully adjustable monoshock, with 113 mm of travel.

All mechanical details are handcrafted in France by Brough Superior artisans, in accordance with Richard Mille watchmaking standards. RMB01 is distributed in 3 versions: Pearl of Speed: Matte white with red border; Selene: Matte gray with orange border and Noctural Sapphire: Sapphire blue mixed with gray.

Although the official price has not been announced, experts predict that the price of RMB01 will not be less than 150,000 USD (equivalent to about 3.92 billion VND), based on the price of previous super products such as AMB 001.

The collaboration between Richard Mille and Brough Superior in the RMB01 is not simply a speed car, but a convergence of mechanical technology, artistic design and high-end craftsmanship. Just as a Richard Mille tells the time through constantly moving gears, the RMB01 shows its performance through a living, open-air machine.
