Attending the meeting were Embassy staff, representatives of the Vietnamese community, young intellectuals and students studying in Astana city.
In a warm atmosphere, delegates watched the parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, broadcast live from Vietnam.
Sharing about the article “Vietnam is one, the Vietnamese people are one” by General Secretary To Lam on this important occasion, Vietnamese Ambassador to Kazakhstan Pham Thai Nhu Mai hopes that delegates will deeply understand and show gratitude for the glorious past, for those who sacrificed their blood and bones for the cause of national unification, as well as the spirit of national harmony and nurturing the future.

From far away Kazakhstan, Vietnamese children, regardless of age, share memories of the days of evacuation and avoiding bombs during the war, or memories told in the family about their grandfathers and uncles who sacrificed their lives.... At the end of the meeting, looking forward to the day of national victory, the delegates took souvenir photos with each shirt, yellow star hat, poem hat... and sent their warm feelings to their beloved homeland on the occasion of the nation's "Independence Day".
