Speaking at the exhibition, architect Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Head of the Hanoi Urban Sketching Group, said, “The exhibition “Children Draw Hanoi 2025” brings a completely new artistic experience, this is a mobile exhibition on the street. 50 young artists not only bring their paintings, but also wear shirts and bags printed with the works they created. In their hands, they hold small notebooks, recording images of Hanoi through the innocent, pure strokes of childhood.

Through each step on the street, with a confident and joyful look, the children are spreading to the community the purest and most sincere love for Hanoi, a feeling that no words can express more fully than through the drawings of children.

The exhibition “Children Draw Hanoi 2025” is an artistic activity and a journey to connect the community, awakening pride in Hanoi in everyone’s heart. Helping children nurture their dreams of flying far with their own talented hands.

“At this exhibition, I drew The Huc Bridge and One Pillar Pagoda, two typical cultural symbols of Hanoi. This was a memorable experience for me. I walked through the streets with my aunt, uncle, and friends, feeling the rhythm of life in the capital through each stroke of the brush. What excited me most was meeting the artists, listening to them share their knowledge about colors, how to combine colors to create harmony and liveliness,” said Do Lydia Ngoc Nhi, a student at Nguyen Du Primary School.

According to Ms. Le An Bich Ha, Ngoc Nhi's parent, exhibition activities like this help children get in touch with painting from a very early age, opening the door to a rich inner world , where they learn to listen, understand and express their emotions. From there, they begin to learn how to observe life, boldly express themselves, and connect with the community naturally. We believe that, through each painting, each innocent and creative color block, children are contributing to preserving the beauty of Hanoi in their own way, through the feelings of a child's soul. From there, the awareness of appreciating and preserving the beauty of the capital Hanoi will also be nurtured in a sustainable and profound way.

Continuing the sketching journey "Children draw Hanoi 2025" , the children met and listened to artist Trinh Lien, a lecturer at Hanoi University of Architecture, share about language and color in painting. The in-depth knowledge was conveyed in an easy-to-understand and vivid way, giving the children a memorable experience, further awakening their love for painting and freedom in expressing emotions through painting. From there, sowing the seeds of creativity in each painting, the children not only drew beloved Hanoi, but also painted a colorful world, love and innocent emotions of childhood.
