At the event, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien, Chairman of the Bac Giang Province Cooperative Union, shared that Saigon Co.op is an important bridge to bring high-quality OCOP agricultural products closer to consumers. In Bac Giang, since 2018, Saigon Co.op has regularly consumed thousands of tons of lychee from direct growing areas of Luc Ngan district to distribute to the Saigon Co.op retail system, contributing significantly to creating momentum for local economic development, creating jobs for hundreds of workers in the province over the past years.
Saigon Co.op is expected to increase its consumption output by 20% compared to the same period last year. Not only fresh lychee products, Saigon Co.op also sells lychee-based products that can be preserved and used for a long time.
