(CT) - Can Tho City Social Work Center has just coordinated with the City Youth Union to organize a seminar on life skills education "The right to be protected and loved" for children in special circumstances being raised at the Center.

With the theme “The light of love from within me”, children watched video clips of stories about love with simple expressions and emotions in relationships between people in life. Children learned about the concept and definition of love through 6 basic needs: survival, safety, connection, recognition, giving and self-affirmation. People feel happy when receiving care and attention from people around them, at the same time, they must know how to care, respect, be proud and protect themselves, share and spread caring and helping actions to everyone so that love is more complete and meaningful...

According to the City Social Work Center, in 2025, to improve the effectiveness of life skills education for children raised at the Center, the Center focuses on equipping skills through practical thematic activities: regulating and managing emotions, independence and self-management, making friends and building healthy relationships, orienting the future and developing oneself... Thereby, children prevent risks, practice ethics, healthy lifestyle, self-confidence; form positive thinking, choose the right behavior. At the same time, improve physical and mental health, develop in a safe and healthy environment.
