The project has a total length of 73.62 km, starting at Km 126+484.93 in Loc Phat ward, Bao Loc city, coinciding with the end point of Tan Phu ( Dong Nai ) - Bao Loc expressway; ending point at Km 200+100, intersecting with Lien Khuong - Prenn expressway, Hiep Thanh commune, Duc Trong district.
According to records, the final stages are being rushed to complete so that construction can begin as soon as possible. A report from the Lam Dong Provincial Transport Project Management Board shows that the site clearance work for this expressway project is being implemented synchronously and drastically. The Provincial People's Committee has approved the site clearance design documents in Decision No. 1025/QD-UBND dated May 15, 2025. The Project Management Board has provided this document to the People's Committees of districts and cities where the project passes.
Based on the GPMB stake placement plan from the investor, the Traffic Project Management Board has notified relevant units about the stake placement plan and the unit proposing to implement the project is also coordinating with relevant units to organize the stake placement and handover of GPMB stakes to local management. As of the end of May, the investor has placed and handed over 510/1,860 GPMB stakes, reaching about 28%. Specifically, Bao Loc City completed 157/157 stakes, Di Linh district 33/814 stakes, Duc Trong district 320/702 stakes, it is expected that the stake placement will be completed by June 20.
However, site clearance work still faces many challenges. According to assessments, site clearance progress in some localities is still slow and has not met the requirements. This requires more drastic involvement of authorities at all levels and close coordination between departments, branches and sectors and consensus of relevant people.
To ensure the project's progress, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has established a Steering Committee for compensation and site clearance and has also directed localities to urgently implement each specific task. At a recent meeting, to further accelerate the progress, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Phuc directed localities and relevant units to complete the list and send land recovery notices to organizations and individuals before June 15, 2025. The Provincial People's Committee also requested localities to complete the dossier to issue land prices for compensation, site clearance and site clearance before June 20, 2025. Lam Dong Provincial Land Registration Office was requested to urgently complete the update of the expressway map to facilitate management and site clearance.
With the close direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the participation of authorities at all levels and the consensus of the people, the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Project will soon be implemented, promising to open a new chapter for the development of Lam Dong. When completed, the expressway will not only shorten travel time between localities, creating favorable conditions for trade and tourism, but also open up opportunities to attract investment and develop the economy - society for the whole region.
Lam Dong people are placing high expectations on this project, believing that after many administrative procedural barriers in the past, Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway along with Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway Project will be started in a short time, marking a strong movement in infrastructure, creating momentum and confidence in the development of inter-provincial and inter-regional connectivity that is increasingly more favorable for Lam Dong province to have conditions for rapid, strong and sustainable development in the era of the country's rise.
