From July 1, 2025, Vinh airport - the most important aviation gateway in the North Central region will officially stop operating to upgrade infrastructure. This will certainly significantly affect the air travel demand of people and tourists to Nghe An in the second half of 2025.

The total floor area of ​​the domestic terminal T1 is 11,706 ^m2 , the first floor serves arriving passengers, the second floor is for departing passengers, fully equipped with camera systems and baggage security screening machines.
