According to the assessment of Duy Xuyen District People's Committee, in the first 3 months of this year, the construction material mining and production industry faced many difficulties. Sand and soil mines in the district have not been licensed for exploitation, the price of construction sand is quite high, affecting construction activities; the source of aggregate soil for key projects in the district is scarce.

Meanwhile, the production of construction materials, especially unburnt bricks, is facing difficulties due to high input material prices and high transportation costs, making it difficult to compete.
