Bayern star rejects 100 million euro offer from Saudi Arabia

According to Sky Sports , Al Ittihad offered Sane an attractive four-year contract worth €100 million, but was still rejected. The midfielder is set to sign a new contract with Bayern Munich until 2028. The deal is expected to be completed in the coming weeks.

German media said Sane could receive a lower salary than his current figure at Bayern. Under the new deal, he will pocket 10 million euros per season, which could rise to 14-16 million euros depending on his achievements.

Sane has also attracted interest from two English football giants, Liverpool and Arsenal. However, the German midfielder decided to stay at the Allianz Arena to fulfill his biggest dream of winning the Champions League with the Bavarian team.

Sane joined Bayern in 2020 for 45 million euros from Man City. He played 217 matches and scored 60 goals for the "Gray Tigers" in all competitions.

After keeping Sane, Bayern can liquidate a series of players such as Dayot Upamecano, Kim Min-jae, Joao Palhinha, Leon Goretzka, Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman or Bryan Zaragoza. In addition, veteran Thomas Muller has confirmed that he will leave Bayern at the end of this season after 13 years of association.

Coach Vincent Kompany's goal is to reform the defense, which is considered Bayern's weak point this season.
