Cold air is coming, 16-18 degrees Celsius, mountainous areas below 13 degrees Celsius

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from November 16 to 21, the Northern and Central regions are likely to be affected by a strong cold front. In the Central region, there is a possibility of widespread heavy rain.

In particular, the North and Thanh Hoa and Ha Tinh provinces will have cold weather; high mountainous areas in the North may have frost.

Also according to the forecast, due to the influence of weakly strengthened cold air, combined with high altitude divergence, from the night of November 12 to 15, the Northern region, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An will have few clouds, and sunny days.

On the nights of November 12 to 15, the lowest temperature in the North, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An will drop sharply, generally from 16 to 18 degrees Celsius, in the mountainous areas of the North, some places will be below 13 degrees Celsius.

Due to the influence of strong cold air, the North East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone) has strong northeast wind at level 7, in some places level 8, gusting to level 9-10; waves 3-5m high, rough seas. In the Gulf of Tonkin, the northeast wind is likely to strengthen to level 6-7, gusting to level 8-9; waves 2.5-3.5m high, rough seas.

From the night of November 15, the area from Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa is likely to experience a large-scale heavy rain, lasting for many days, in which heavy to very heavy rain will be concentrated in Hue city, Da Nang city, and the eastern part of Quang Ngai and Gia Lai provinces.
