Previously, on October 11, comrades: Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee received citizens periodically in October.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Cong Trac in Thanh Mien town said that he represented 3 local households, who did not agree with the support price and compensation for site clearance to implement the Northeast Ring Road Project in Thanh Mien town; and requested provincial leaders to direct the resolution.
Provincial leaders received the opinion and asked Mr. Trac to agree and comply with land clearance in accordance with legal regulations.
To resolve the matter, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang assigned Thanh Mien district to continue reviewing, dialogue, explain, and persuade Mr. Trac and other households to agree; and carry out site clearance in accordance with regulations.
Following the direction of the provincial leaders, the leaders of Thanh Mien District People's Committee and representatives of departments and branches organized a dialogue with Mr. Trac and households that have not received compensation, support, or handed over the land. The parties clarified that the land clearance work was carried out in accordance with regulations, ensuring the rights of the households.
After receiving information at the citizen reception of provincial leaders and being propagated and mobilized by the locality, at the end of October, Mr. Trac and all households agreed to receive money and hand over the land to implement the Northeast Ring Road Project of Thanh Mien town.
