After being postponed, the Miss Vietnam final has set a date to be held again.

Due to complicated flooding, the final round of Miss Vietnam 2024 scheduled to take place on the evening of June 14 in Hue City has been postponed and will be rescheduled on the evening of June 27.

That is one of the contents informed by the Organizing Committee of the Miss Vietnam 2024 finals at a press conference this afternoon (June 13) in Hue City.

The Miss Vietnam 2024 contest is organized by Tien Phong Newspaper in coordination with the People's Committee of Hue City, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center and a number of other units.

The organizers have prepared the best infrastructure to bring an emotional final night, imbued with the history of the ancient capital of Hue, promoting and honoring Vietnamese cultural values ​​on a contemporary creative platform.

The highlight of the Miss Vietnam 2024 final night is the live stage, a floating stage on the Perfume River with a grandstand that can accommodate up to 6,000 people, inspired by the pearl on the Perfume River's surface and the story of a heritage site that is shining.

According to the original plan, the final night of Miss Vietnam 2024 took place on June 14. However, the heavy rains in recent days due to the impact of storm No. 1 and the rising water level of the Huong River have significantly affected the stage construction progress as well as the contestants' practice schedule.

Therefore, the final program on June 14 was postponed and is expected to be re-organized on the evening of June 27.

"With nearly 37 years of experience organizing the Miss Vietnam contest, the Organizing Committee understands that the quality of the contest is the top priority. Therefore, to ensure the smooth organization and adapt to actual weather conditions, the Organizing Committee has decided to adjust the time of the Miss Vietnam 2024 final night," said a representative of the Organizing Committee.
