The train was put into operation from March 26 and every day, 2 pairs of trains with the code HD1/2 and HD3/4 between Hue - Da Nang and vice versa with the name "Connecting Central Heritage" organized by Vietnam Railway Corporation in coordination with 2 localities of Thua Thien-Hue province and Da Nang city. This is considered the most beautiful train route in Vietnam.

On the way, the train will stop at Lang Co station for passengers to get off the train and check-in for photos at the station.
In Hue City, train HD1 departs from Hue station at 7:45 a.m. and arrives at Da Nang station at 10:35 a.m.; train HD3 departs from Hue station at 2:25 p.m. and arrives at Da Nang station at 5:40 p.m.
In the opposite direction, in Da Nang City, train HD2 departs from Da Nang station at 7:50 a.m. and arrives at Hue station at 11:05 a.m.; train HD4 departs from Da Nang station at 3:00 p.m. and arrives at Hue station at 5:45 p.m.
