Actively participating in social security activities not only demonstrates responsibility to the community, closely linked to one of the 5 core values "For the Community" of SeABank but also the common aspiration of all employees who wish to contribute to sharing love and connecting the community. Implemented since 2014, the annual charity program Spring of Love has become a tradition, a beautiful cultural feature of SeABanker every time Tet comes.
With the theme “Spreading Smiles”, Spring of Love 2025 takes place in 2 months (from January 2 to February 28, 2025) in 29 provinces and cities across the country, contributing to spreading the spirit of mutual love, bringing the warmth of spring to every difficult situation. The program received positive responses from SeABank employees nationwide.
Many gifts were delivered by SeABank employees in coordination with local authorities to people in difficult circumstances and unfortunate lives in 7 schools, 8 hospitals/ medical centers, and 12 social organizations/protection centers.
In Ho Chi Minh City, SeABankers presented 50 scholarships and gifts to children at the Little Ants Library and supported children who lost their parents due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, hundreds of other gifts and necessities were also presented by SeABankers to families with special difficulties in Thai Phuc commune ( Thai Binh ) as well as disabled children at the Thanh Oai District Relief Center (Hanoi) or victims of Agent Orange in Da Nang.
In the 2025 charity activities, SeABank Dak Lak coordinated with the Dak Lak Provincial Women's Union to organize the program "Godmother - Loving Tet" with the desire to spread love, provide material and spiritual support to orphans before the Spring of At Ty. The program was launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union. Up to now, in Dak Lak, 870 orphans have been sponsored and more than 2,000 children have received material support and spiritual encouragement in many forms, with a total value of nearly 10 billion VND. In this year's program, SeABank Dak Lak and the Organizing Committee presented 66 gifts to students with good academic achievements, continuing to spread love to motivate them to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies and life.
In addition, SeABank also organized many humanitarian activities such as: giving gifts to female patients with serious illnesses (Nha Trang); Giving scholarships to poor students who overcome difficulties at schools (Thanh Hoa, Nam Dinh, Ha Tinh, Vung Tau); Giving necessities to lonely elderly people (Dong Nai); Giving 54 gifts to poor households in My Tho City (Tien Giang)...
Not only stopping at gift giving and encouragement, SeABank also wants to spread the community spirit even more, helping patients and their families receive delicious meals through the 0 VND kitchen. On February 25, 2025, in Hanoi, SeABank set up a 0 VND kitchen and supported 700 free meals for patients and their families being treated at Tan Trieu K Hospital. Although the value of each meal is not large, its full nutrition has promptly encouraged the spirit of patients and their relatives in difficult circumstances to feel secure in their treatment. The activity received a positive response from patients and local people, the warm and meaningful free meal brought joy to the patients. Ms. Thanh Mai (Bac Giang) shared: "The meal was very full and hot, thank you for the generosity of SeABank for caring and accompanying us".
Over the years, SeABank has always been proactive and prioritized social security activities in many forms such as supporting patients in difficult circumstances, awarding scholarships, donating gratitude houses, building solidarity houses, donating blood, raising charity funds for the poor, awarding scholarships to studious children in difficult circumstances across the country... Continuing to promote the goal of serving the community, connecting love, spreading happiness, in the coming time, SeABank will still focus on social security activities as a commitment in the Bank's sustainable development strategy.
