ATTRACTION FROM " MADE IN VIETNAM " MUSIC NIGHTS
Coming from two reality music shows on television, Anh trai vu ngan cong gai and Anh trai say hi , the "brothers" continued to organize concerts in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi . During the concert in Ho Chi Minh City on October 19, Anh trai vu ngan cong gai attracted more than 20,000 audiences in a sumptuous music party, exploding not only with the performing artists but also with many audiences from young, middle-aged to old. They came to enjoy and immerse themselves in that space with a passionate spirit, which is rare in domestic music shows.
Concert Brother Overcame a Thousand Thorns
Previously, the two shows "Anh trai" "say hi" Concert 2024" held about 3 weeks apart in Ho Chi Minh City were also packed with people. After the two concerts (September 28 and October 19), on its account, the program's producer - Threads Vie Channel sent thanks to the 78,000 viewers who directly watched the two shows of "Anh trai say hi" . Although the number of viewers announced above is said to be not close to reality, the "heat" of the program cannot be denied.
Following the first concert, Anh trai vu ngan cong gai 2 will take place at Vinhomes Ocean Park 3, Hung Yen province on December 14 with ticket prices considered quite high in the general level of the Vietnamese music market, ranging from 800,000 - 8,000,000 VND. After announcing the opening of ticket sales on November 12, on many forums and accounts, "hunting" for tickets, receiving ticket reservations with a commitment to success took place very actively. And after just over 40 minutes of opening for sale, the show "sold out", even crashing the website due to overloaded traffic.
Brother "say hi" Concert 2024
Recently, the organizers of the show Anh trai say hi sent an apology to the audience for not being able to meet the capacity for concert 3 (December 7 in Hanoi), when there were more than 200,000 people waiting to buy tickets on the Ticketbox platform; and therefore, will organize another show on December 9 at My Dinh National Stadium. After opening tickets for concert night 4 on November 28, the list of audiences waiting to buy tickets on Ticketbox reached more than 50,000 people. With ticket prices similar to previous shows: from 500,000 - 10,000,000 million VND, the audience still "flocked" to buy, and it is expected that tickets will also sell out in a short time.
Recently, many famous artists of the Vietnamese music industry have organized their own concerts such as Vu., Uyen Linh, Quoc Thien... also attracting a large audience. For example, Vu.'s concert "The Museum of Regrets " held in Ho Chi Minh City on the night of October 12 had nearly 8,000 spectators come to watch live, with all tickets sold out. According to the organizers, compared to Vu.'s concert "Ten Thousand Years" 2 years ago, the number of spectators has increased 3 times and Vu. is also the Vietnamese artist whose solo show attracts the largest audience.
Commenting on the current Vietnamese music market, music producer Khac Hung said: "Vietnamese music has many talented young artists, with outstanding individuals helping the market to be vibrant and inspiring many people of all ages. Moreover, the majority of the audience is young, so producers and organizations have connected and grasped trends to create programs that suit their tastes."
S HOW NOT ENOUGH TO ATTRACT AUDIENCE
While domestic music shows "explode" with large audiences, shows by international artists coming to Vietnam during this time seem more gloomy. Except for a few shows by famous international artists associated with many generations of Vietnamese music lovers, such as the Danish band Michael Learns To Rock, which was held on the night of November 17 and attracted about 5,000 spectators; the rest of the shows had to be canceled. On November 13, the organizers of K-Time Live In Hanoi - scheduled to be held on November 16 and 17 at My Dinh National Stadium - announced the cancellation of the event and would refund tickets to the audience due to "some objective reasons beyond control". Experts say that the reason for the show's lack of tickets cannot be ruled out, although K-Time Live In Hanoi is introduced to include artists such as: Super Junior D&E, Super Junior LSS, Apink, The New Six, Highlight, ONF, TripleS, singers Hyolyn, Hwasa and One.
Concert Museum of Regrets
This shows that if in the past the audience was only crazy about K-pop, now they tend to turn to support domestic music shows. It is also understandable that the "Brother" concerts gather a cast of performing artists who previously "caused a storm" from a reality music show on television, and went viral on social networking platforms. The performances combining traditional and modern music imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity and staging that is not inferior to international-class stages have really "touched" the audience, satisfying their "thirst" for quality in both content and form, as commented by music director Tran Vi My: "The ongoing music programs create great attraction because they know how to combine and exploit "old bottles, new wine", modern and traditional elements to inspire viewers".
According to director Tran Vi My, Vietnamese youth today have a high level of artistic appreciation, popular with the world. Young people do not lack opportunities to go abroad to see shows, so international artists who come to Vietnam to perform but do not have enough talent and appeal are easily "ignored".
And to maintain the lasting appeal of domestic music shows, according to director Tran Vi My, organizers must reinvest in entertainment, commerce and art; be creative; capture audience tastes based on standard foundations such as: be creative but not easygoing, music must be newly arranged, no "junk" music; the program must be well-organized; invest systematically. "Audiences are very smart now, it is not easy for them to spend a large amount of money to buy tickets if the program is not up to standard," said Mr. Tran Vi My.
