Currently, PC Dien Bien is cooperating with 5 banks: BIDV, Agribank , Vietinbank, ABBank, LienVietPost and 8 e-wallets: MoMo, Vimo, VNPay, ZaloPay, VNPT Pay, Viettel Pay, Payoo, Paytech. In addition, customers can pay via e-wallets with many preferential programs... Thanks to that, there are many payment channels for customers to choose from, especially improving safety.

Because Dien Bien is a mountainous province with many difficulties, the rate of customers in districts and towns paying in cash is still common. To improve service quality and establish diverse payment channels, in September 2021, Dien Bien Power Company expanded its cooperation with Dien Bien Provincial Post Office through the collection channel (VIETNAM POST) until early 2022, the Company transferred 100% of the Power Company's collection counters to the Provincial Post Office.

At the same time, the Company also mobilized the HTKDĐ services that are signed with the Electricity to cooperate with the Post Office in the work of collecting electricity bills. As a result, by August 2023, the number of customers paying via the Post Office on average per month was about 53,000 customers, accounting for 38.37% of the total number of customers collected in the month and accounting for 52.82% of the total number of customers paying without cash.

In addition, since Vietnam Electricity Group and ZaloPay e-wallet deployed the electricity bill payment service using QR code platform on monthly bills, Dien Bien Electricity Company has quickly deployed, helping customers pay in a simple, easy and safe way.

The widespread application of the service "Electronic invoice using QR code" is a testament to the continuous improvement, continuing to bring electricity services to customers more and more conveniently, openly and transparently. All are implemented on the basis of applying modern technology. From there, contributing to promoting the construction of a digital economy.

Then, customers just need to open the Payoo, MOMO, Vietcombank application... select "Scan QR code" and scan the QR code printed on the bill. Then, customers check all the displayed information and confirm payment. With this feature, customers can pay right at home without having to go to the collection points.

In addition, there is no need to manually enter the customer code or amount, instead, all operations are just scanning the QR code on the invoice. This both simplifies the payment process and ensures the accuracy of the amount compared to entering data manually.

Currently, Dien Bien Power Company cooperates with banks, intermediary organizations to pay electricity bills in the area and 56 retail electricity services. The goal is to collect electricity bills regularly, ensuring a rate of over 99.8%/year.

In addition, there are currently more than 100 thousand customers (72.64% of bills and 92.80% of revenue) making payments through banks and intermediary organizations. The rate of non-cash electricity payment in central areas of cities, towns and townships is increasing day by day. However, in remote areas, this rate is still low.

Dien Bien Electricity Company presented 71 gifts to customers in the province who used cashless electricity payment via Zalo Pay wallet. The purpose of this activity is to promote propaganda, encourage and show gratitude to customers using the service. At the same time, the company also hopes to bring many conveniences and satisfaction to people in the province when using electricity services.
