Exciting Walking Program for Officials, Civil Servants, Public Employees, and Enterprises in District 5

The walking program "Cadres, civil servants, public employees and businesses of District 5" after two times of organization has become a large activity, a playground exclusively for cadres, civil servants, public employees, businessmen and workers in the district with an increasing scale in both quantity and quality of organization work over the years.

The program has created conditions for closer connection between the district government and units, enterprises, and between enterprises to exchange experiences, share information; develop together and accompany the work of caring for policies and social security in the locality.

Warm up before departure time

Continuing the above successes, in the atmosphere of the people of the whole country celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh 's birthday, the People's Committee of District 5 continues to organize the walking program "Cadres, civil servants, public employees and enterprises of District 5" in 2025.

This year's event had the participation of 157 units and businesses with nearly 2,150 participants, including 1,550 entrepreneurs and workers.

Starting in front of the gate of District 5 People's Committee headquarters, the 3.1 km walking route passes through An Duong Vuong, Nguyen Tri Phuong - Tran Phu - Tran Hung Dao - Chau Van Liem - Hong Bang streets and finishes in front of the District People's Committee headquarters.

Ms. Truong Minh Kieu, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of District 5, said that the walking program is a meaningful activity for businessmen and employees of enterprises in the district, contributing to promoting sports activities in the community.

She affirmed that District 5 always believes and hopes that the cadres, civil servants, public employees and businesses in the area will be more closely connected, together serving the interests of the community; ready and actively participating in activities related to the socio -economic development and social security tasks of the Party Committee and the district government, for the goal of building a developed, civilized, modern and affectionate District 5.

Closing the walking program, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes for the best starting lineup, the most complete teams, and the most beautiful cheering performances on the route to theEducation Division, An Binh Hospital, Tam Luxury Enterprise, Cho Lon Electronics, and the Central Institute of Odonto-Stomatology.

2,000 workers walk to raise funds to support colleagues

To celebrate the 17th Workers' Month, on the morning of May 18, at Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone (District 7, Ho Chi Minh City), the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City Export Processing Zones and Industrial Zones in coordination with the City Workers' Support Fund and the City Export Processing Zones Trade Union organized a walking program to support the workers' support fund and the program "For the Union member friend".

The program aims to call on businesses, union members and workers to contribute, share and help union members and workers who are in truly difficult circumstances in life.

The program had the participation of 2,000 business representatives and workers on a 5km walking route in the Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone. The program received a contribution of more than 1 billion VND for the City Workers Support Fund and 365 million VND for the program "For the Union Member".

At the walking program, the City Workers Support Fund presented 20 gifts to seriously ill workers currently working at Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone (each gift included 2 million VND in cash and milk).
