On May 18th, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law announced that it had received over 300 million VND from its alumni. This included 217 million VND from the auction of items at the alumni reunion gala and 132 million VND from additional donations by alumni.
All of this money will be used to renovate the road leading to the school's new campus, and to support scholarships for students.

The auction of the item "Rice Paintings of the facilities of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law through different periods" was successful.
The items up for auction include: 2 sets of signed footballs and jerseys from the school's leadership and all the players; 2 commemorative trophies from the football tournament; and 1 rice painting depicting the school's locations throughout history.
Associate Professor Vu Van Nhiem, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, said that the university is developing strongly, constantly expanding its training scale and investing in modern facilities.
Campus 3 in Long Phuoc Ward, Thu Duc City, is gradually being completed. However, Road No. 11 leading to this campus is currently in a state of disrepair. The school has launched a project to upgrade and renovate Road No. 11 leading to Campus 3 and has received support from faculty members, alumni, businesses, and benefactors.
Expressing his delight at the meaningful gift from the alumni, Associate Professor Vu Van Nhiem shared: "The university highly appreciates and acknowledges the contributions of alumni to the development and strategic planning of the university. Based on that, the university has proactively invested in and innovated activities, forming a network connecting alumni, receiving much positive feedback, leaving a deep and meaningful mark."
The new campus of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Law is expected to be put into use in September 2025.
