Exciting activities towards the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces

Promoting the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Public Security force, Vinh Phuc Provincial Public Security has continuously developed, become increasingly strong, elite, modern, fulfilling all tasks assigned by the Party, State and people, making an important contribution to the comprehensive development of the province.

In order to honor those outstanding achievements and feats, and to implement Decision No. 280 of the Prime Minister approving the project to organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection, the Provincial People's Committee has issued an implementation plan, established a Steering Committee to organize and implement activities and assigned specific tasks to departments, branches and units.

As the standing agency of the Steering Committee, the Provincial Police coordinates with relevant departments, branches, and People's Committees of districts and cities to advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to lead and direct the organization of impressive commemorative activities, focusing on promoting the beautiful image of the People's Public Security soldiers close to the people right from the grassroots level; achievements in the fight against crime of the entire force; exemplary People's Public Security soldiers...

Thereby creating motivation, a vibrant competitive atmosphere, strengthening solidarity, discipline, order, maintaining close relations with the people. Notably, there was a special political activity on the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection in the provincial Public Security force; organizing for officers and soldiers to visit historical sites, the People's Public Security Traditional Museum, visit exhibitions, display of achievements in the security industry, literature and art in Hanoi.

The Provincial Police coordinated with the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to promote the National Day for National Security Protection in association with the movement "National Security Protection", the Campaign "National Unity to Build New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas" as well as emulation movements of socio-political organizations; activities to return to the source, repay gratitude, and social security.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism directs the organization of special art programs to serve the people at Ho Chi Minh Square of the province; cultural centers, squares of districts, cities and communes, wards and towns in the area.

Coordinate with the Provincial Police to visually propagate and encourage on the system of propaganda clusters, billboards, flags, banners, and slogans on the central routes of the province; display and exhibit propaganda paintings on Van Cao and Ton Duc Thang streets (Vinh Yen city)...

Along with that, activities for the anniversary also focus on many large groups of activities such as propaganda, education; emulation - rewards; cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities; conferences, seminars, talks; mass mobilization activities, gratitude; security and order assurance and building the People's Public Security force; foreign affairs activities; organizing a meeting program to celebrate the anniversary scheduled to take place on August 16, 2025 with the participation of about 600 delegates.

Up to now, the units have completed 5/17 contents of propaganda and education activities; have deployed 3/4 contents of cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities; and are deploying 2/3 contents of emulation and reward activities.

At the same time, incorporate the contents of mass mobilization activities, gratitude; security and order assurance work and building the People's Public Security force into regular activities.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Hieu affirmed that the series of commemorative activities not only honor the history and glorious tradition of the police force but also provide an opportunity for officers and soldiers to review the development stages, thereby continuing to write many glorious feats to build a clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern police force.

The events will also create a connection between the people and the police force; arouse pride and raise awareness and responsibility of the people in the fight against crime, protecting national security and social order and safety.

Currently, the Provincial People's Committee continues to direct and request departments, branches and localities to well implement assigned tasks, especially press agencies to promote propaganda about this event. Localities proactively organize activities of the National Day for National Security Protection, ensuring thoughtfulness, solemnity and meaning.
