EXCITING SPORTS FESTIVAL TO CELEBRATE THE 80TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS AND THE TRADITIONAL DAY OF THE STATE ORGANIZATION SECTOR (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025)

On the morning of August 23, 2025, at Hon Chong beach in front of Khanh Hoa Nursing and Care Center for People with Merits, Khanh Hoa Department of Home Affairs solemnly organized a Sports Festival to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Traditional Day of the State Organization Sector (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025). Attending and delivering the opening speech at the Sports Festival were Mr. Vo Chi Vuong, Provincial Party Committee member, Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Home Affairs; Ms. Le Thi Thu Thao; Mr. Truong Thanh Long - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Quang Hong Van - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs, along with leaders of agencies and units under and directly under the Department; and all civil servants, public employees and employees of the Department of Home Affairs.

The sports festival gathered a large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to participate in a spirit of solidarity, excitement and enthusiasm. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of the Department of Home Affairs Vo Chi Vuong emphasized: "The sports festival is not only an opportunity to practice physical strength and improve health, but also an opportunity to connect, spread the spirit of solidarity and exchange between units. This is also a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the traditional day of the State Organization sector, contributing to creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere in the whole sector".

This year’s sports festival took place with 3 collective competitions: Tug of War, Sack Jump Relay and Capture the Flag on the Sand, attracting the enthusiastic participation of the delegations. The matches not only brought exciting and thrilling moments but also left behind lots of laughter, joy, team spirit and memorable memories.

At the end of the Sports Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded the First, Second and Third prizes to the teams with outstanding achievements. This was truly a day of solidarity, contributing to promoting the movement of physical training and sports , improving the spiritual life of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Department of Home Affairs of Khanh Hoa province.
