Khanh Hoa province delegation visited and worked at HD Hyundai Mipo Shipbuilding Company, Korea

On the afternoon of October 15, in Ulsan City (Korea), a delegation of Khanh Hoa province led by Mr. Le Huyen - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and worked with HD Hyundai Mipo Shipbuilding Company. This is an activity within the framework of a working trip to visit and work with the Ulsan City government and attend the Ulsan Industrial Festival 2025 at the invitation of the Mayor of Ulsan City. Accompanying the delegation were leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Department of Home Affairs, the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board, and the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center. Receiving and working with the delegation was Mr. Hwang Tae Hwan - Executive Director of production management and management departments of HD Hyundai Mipo Shipbuilding Company.

At the working session, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Delegation and the leaders of HD Hyundai Mipo Shipbuilding Company exchanged information on working conditions; welfare regimes for Khanh Hoa workers at the enterprise; recruitment and training needs for technical labor in the coming time. At the same time, they discussed training cooperation opportunities to bring Khanh Hoa workers to work at the enterprise.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Le Huyen acknowledged and highly appreciated HD Hyundai Mipo Shipbuilding Company as well as HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Company Limited in Khanh Hoa for their effective investment and operation, contributing to the economic growth of the province, supporting the improvement of skills for Khanh Hoa workers. Comrade Le Huyen suggested that in the coming time, HD Hyundai Mipo Shipbuilding Company should continue to strengthen coordination, exchange and share information with the Department of Home Affairs to proactively coordinate with training facilities for professional qualifications, foreign language skills, cultural knowledge, and laws of the host country for workers in Khanh Hoa province to meet the recruitment needs of the company. The Department of Home Affairs actively coordinates with Korean authorities to focus on implementing solutions to promote cooperation between Vietnamese and Korean workers in general, Khanh Hoa province and Ho Chi Minh City. Ulsan in particular (including cooperation in sending Khanh Hoa province workers to work and train at HD Hyundai Mipo Shipbuilding Company) is commensurate with the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
