The exciting opening of the 2025 Yamaha Cup National U.13 Youth Football Tournament

On the afternoon of July 3, at Binh Duong Stadium, Thu Dau Mot Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, the final round of the 2025 Yamaha Cup National U.13 Youth Football Tournament officially opened with many exciting and dramatic matches.

Before the first matches in Group A of the U.13 tournament took place, the tournament organizers held a brief and solemn opening ceremony.

Attending the opening ceremony were Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Pham Duy Trang - Chairman of the Central Council of Young Pioneers; Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong; Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Huu Dat; Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Head of the local Organizing Committee Cao Van Chong.

On the side of the Organizing Committee, there was the presence of writer and journalist Nguyen Phan Khue - member of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers, Editor-in-Chief of the Young Pioneers and Children Newspaper - Head of the Organizing Committee.

Right at the opening ceremony, the tournament's Organizing Committee presented meaningful scholarships to ethnic players who were on the teams participating in this year's final round.

Right after the opening ceremony, two matches took place in Group A. In the opening match, U.13 Becamex Binh Duong unfortunately missed out on victory when they let their compatriot U.13 Binh Duong equalize the score 2-2.

The U.13 tournament is of interest to all levels and sectors.

Meanwhile, U.13 Phu Tho drew 1-1 with U.13 Hanoi . On the morning of July 3, matches took place in groups B and C. In group B, U.13 Da Nang had a narrow 1-0 victory over U.13 Hue, U.13 VES Ba Ria - Vung Tau defeated U.13 Haduwaco Hai Duong 1-0. In group C, U.13 Hong Linh Ha Tinh defeated U.13 Navy Phu Nhuan 2-0. U.13 Quang Nam and U.13 Nam Dinh drew 1-1. On July 5, the tournament will continue with 8 matches in 4 groups.
