Exciting "Reunion Day" of the Capital's youth

The program "Union Day" in 2025 was launched early in the morning of March 23 in Van Dien town (Thanh Tri district, Hanoi city), with many practical activities such as: handing over the decision to establish a Youth Union organization in a non-state enterprise; health check-up, consultation and free medicine distribution, giving gifts to former youth volunteers in difficult circumstances.

From early morning, many people in the capital were present at Thanh Tri District Gymnasium (Van Dien town) to receive free health check-ups and consultations.

Also at the program, the Organizing Committee presented many types of items in response to the program of preventing and combating plastic waste to people and small traders; presented gifts to students who overcame difficulties to study well; launched an environmental sanitation campaign, eliminated black spots of waste; inaugurated playgrounds for children and youth, youth bookcases...

According to Chu Hong Minh, Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union, the program focuses on connecting union members and young people with the hope that young people will have more opportunities to access and participate in activities organized by the Youth Union and Association more regularly. From here, union members and young people have the opportunity to promote their pioneering spirit and contribute their youth to building an increasingly humane and developed society.

On the same day, in response to the launch of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union , the Hanoi Youth Union also organized the Peak Day of "Volunteering to join hands in building new rural areas" and the first "Green Sunday" program in 2025.

Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Chu Hong Minh pinned the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union badge on a member admitted within the framework of the program.

While the Peak Day is deployed simultaneously at 100% of commune-level Youth Union bases in the capital, the "Green Sunday" program will be launched at 100% of district-level Youth Union bases, towns and affiliated schools.

Representatives of the Central Youth Union and the Vietnam Student Association visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Thanh Tri district.

Within the framework of the Peak Day and "Green Sunday", young people together cleaned the environment, dredged sewers; collected, recycled and processed plastic waste; carried out projects such as "Mural Road", "Blooming Electric Poles", "Youth Tree Row", "Lighting Up Country Roads", "Children's Playground"...

Representatives of the Hanoi Youth Union and related units and local children performed the inauguration ceremony of the "Mural Road" project.

Thanh Tri district people are excited about the "Mural Road" project.

In addition, the volunteer force also organizes many specific activities such as supporting security and order, traffic safety; and voluntary blood donation.

Art performance celebrating the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union performed by local youth union members at the program.

On this occasion, volunteers also provided free health consultation and examination to people; and deployed "Digital Education for All" teams.
