Son La responds to the activity "Moving forward with Vietnam"

In the spirit of the whole country, on the morning of August 16, at Tay Bac Square, Son La Provincial Police and the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Son La organized the activity "Moving forward with Vietnam" with the message "One billion steps into the new era", celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025). The activity was organized at the provincial level and simultaneously in communes and wards in the province, attracting the participation of a large number of cadres, party members, people, police officers and soldiers.

Event "Moving Forward with Vietnam" at Northwest Square.

Attending the activity at the Son La province bridge point were comrade Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; leaders, cadres, civil servants, and public employees of departments, branches, sectors, and socio- political organizations of the province; more than 4,000 cadres, soldiers, officials, teachers, students, and students of schools, colleges, and universities, and people of the wards: To Hieu, Chieng Coi, Chieng Sinh, and Chieng An; and more than 15,000 people participating at the bridge points of communes and wards in the province.

The program was broadcasted at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi Capital, delegates, officers, soldiers and people simultaneously performed the flag-raising ceremony, sang the National Anthem according to the time frame of the National Flag Raising Ceremony at Ba Dinh Square; creating a solemn and sacred atmosphere, expressing patriotism and national pride.

Immediately after the activity in Hanoi, at the Son La province bridge, comrade Nguyen Dinh Viet, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, praised the Provincial Police and the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Son La province for accompanying and closely coordinating to organize this meaningful event; commended the sense of responsibility, proactiveness of agencies, units, departments, unions, Party committees and authorities of communes, wards and the majority of people for the event. Through today's event, it contributes to consolidating and maintaining the solidarity of the people, further strengthening the close affection between the police force and the people, building the image of the People's Police soldier as brave, humane, serving the people.

Immediately afterwards, the Organizing Committee launched a program for delegates to walk together at Northwest Square, with the aim of spreading the message "One billion steps to enter the new era - an action symbolizing solidarity and unity towards a green - clean - sustainable future".

Also in the program, the Organizing Committee presented gifts to 6 individuals in difficult circumstances in communes and wards in the province.
