Son La determined to speed up the disbursement of public investment capital in 2025

(sonla.gov.vn) On the morning of October 24, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired an online meeting on disbursement of public investment capital in 2025.

Attending the meeting were representatives of leaders of several departments, leaders of Project Management Boards, Chairmen of People's Committees of communes and wards with remaining undisbursed capital of 10 billion VND or more as of October 22, 2015.

In 2025, the total public investment plan assigned by the Prime Minister to Son La province is 7,658,139 billion VND. As of October 23, 2025, the disbursement amount is 3,270,185 billion VND, equal to 37.4 % of the total assigned capital plan, equal to 48.43% of the detailed allocated capital plan . The remaining undisbursed capital: 5,234,843 billion VND. Compared with the disbursement results up to October 15, 2025, an increase of 86,858 billion VND.

By October 23, 2025, the Department of Finance had just received disbursement plans from a number of units (Department of Agriculture and Environment, Project Management Board for Construction Investment of Agricultural and Rural Development Works, ODA Project Management Board, Project Management Board for Construction Investment of Song Ma, Bac Yen, Moc Chau, Thuan Chau) .

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Tien emphasized that communes, wards and investors need to closely monitor and take drastic measures to speed up the disbursement progress of public investment projects in the area, clarify problems to promptly resolve them, look at the progress of disbursement and consider this as one of the criteria to evaluate the capacity of officials and investors. He also directed the Provincial People's Committee Office to issue urgent documents, instructing investors to register the progress of public investment disbursement, and not to let officials or investors make things difficult, harass or delay the disbursement progress.
