Effective use of Thanh Binh cultural house

Members of the Thanh Binh Volleyball Club, Man Duc town (Tan Lac) have a practice field every day at the cultural house.

It has become a habit that every afternoon, members of the Volleyball Club gather at the cultural house yard to practice and compete in friendly sports . Ms. Vu Thi Hoai, a member of the club, excitedly said: With the cultural house, people have a space to organize sports and art activities, helping to improve their health and relax their spirit. From here, the village and neighborhood relationships are more connected, and importantly, everyone benefits from the project.

According to Mr. Vu Quang Trang, Head of Thanh Binh area, the cultural house of the area was built and put into use from 2023 with an area of over 300 m2, with a total value of over 1.2 billion VND. In addition to the budget of 200 million VND from support sources, the project received support and contributions of over 1 billion VND from socialized sources. Through propaganda and mobilization of the Party Committee and the authorities of the area, nearly 100% of households participated in contributing a minimum of 500,000 VND/household. In particular, the area has mobilized many individuals, groups, and children working and working far from home to support money and facilities for the cultural house, typically Mr. Phan Van Tuan sponsored stage curtains worth 8 million VND; Mr. Pham Huy Tan contributed 10 million VND; Party members of Party cell 213 contributed 16.4 million VND; Ms. Nguyen Thu Thuy contributed 5 million VND; Mr. Hoang Ngoc Y contributed 5 million VND; Mr. Ha Minh Phuc contributed 4 million VND...

Currently, the Thanh Binh cultural house is the most spacious building compared to other areas in Man Duc town, and at the same time, it has promoted its efficiency and functionality well. According to the Head of the area, Vu Quang Trang, since the establishment of the cultural house, cultural, sports and surface activities have been maintained regularly. The area has established a health club, volleyball, folk song and dance club, attracting a large number of people to participate and respond to the movement. The area's art troupe has the opportunity to practice regularly.

With a capacity of 200 - 220 seats, the cultural house also has full auxiliary items such as: parking lot, toilet, 2 volleyball courts, outdoor stage. Facilities inside the cultural house include tables and chairs, amplifiers, speakers, pedestal for Uncle Ho's statue... The cultural house has installed a wifi network system to serve the activities of the people. Up to now, the cultural house has organized a number of cultural and artistic exchanges on a town-wide scale. This is also the place chosen to organize the town's Party Congress and carry out annual work and meetings of the residential area...

Thanh Binh area currently has 192 households, 4 ethnic groups Kinh, Muong, Thai, Tay living together. In addition to a part of civil servants, local households take advantage of the National Highway 6 axis to promote trade and services. With the efforts in economic development, the area has only 2 poor households, the average income per capita in 2024 will reach 80 million VND.

In particular, along with the movement of the whole people uniting to build a cultural life, joining hands to build a civilized urban area, the cadres and people of Thanh Binh area have made positive contributions in terms of working days and money to build a cultural house. Since then, people have had a place for community activities, organizing activities on holidays, festivals, entertainment, and youth have a healthy and safe playground.

The joint construction, management and effective use of cultural houses demonstrates the core role in building grassroots cultural life, creating a mark of unity and consensus between Party committees, authorities and people, while contributing to improving the quality of life, consolidating and building the great national unity bloc, and building civilized and prosperous residential areas.
