In recent days, social media has been abuzz with a clip recording a scene of a female student suddenly discovering that her family had set up a wedding tent after returning from an exam, along with information spreading that her parents were forcing her to get married because her exam results were not as expected.

The short clip quickly went viral on social media platforms, from Tiktok to Facebook, attracting thousands of mixed comments. Many people expressed outrage at the news that the girl's parents had decided to "hurried off" their daughter just because of her low test scores.

Comments like: "My child's lifelong happiness, why do you impose it so cruelly?", "This family is crazy". Some people even shared similar experiences in the past: "Just like me 17 years ago"...

Besides, many people are skeptical about the authenticity of the story, saying that in the context of modern society, forcing children into marriage based on grades is unlikely to happen.

To clarify the truth of the story, Dan Tri reporter contacted Pham Tra My ( Nam Dinh ), who appeared in the clip that is causing a stir. Contrary to online speculations, Tra My spoke up to clarify, affirming that the content that is spreading on social networks is not a clip produced by her.

The clip was created by Tra My following the trend "Unexpectedly coming back from the exam" and received many interactions (Screenshot).

Tra My said that, with the desire to create a little joy, she "caught the trend" and made an 8-second funny clip on Tiktok with the content: "My parents know I can't do the homework".

In the clip, Tra My transforms into a female student wearing a uniform, carrying a backpack, cycling home and is surprised to see the house decorated like a wedding, with the caption: "A surprise from parents after the end-of-year exams".

It is known that Tra My's idea came from a funny clip trend "Unexpectedly coming back from the exam" that is loved by young people.

"This is just a short video I filmed for humorous purposes. I filmed entertainment content on TikTok so everyone understood it was just a joke. After that, some news channels took and edited the incorrect content, posted it on Facebook, causing many older people to misunderstand," Tra My explained.

The truth behind the "stormy" clip is just the engagement ceremony of Tra My's sister, there is absolutely no forced marriage due to poor grades or prohibition of studying.
