The health of the "hero" who caught the robber has stabilized.

(BDO) After the medical team at Binh Duong General Hospital successfully removed the core of the bullet that penetrated the jaw bone caused by the robber, the health of Mr. Luong Huy Phuong, a security guard at the Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank ( Sacombank ) Branch in Bau Bang District (National Highway 13, Lai Uyen Town) has stabilized.

The wound still hurts, Mr. Phuong wrote back his wish to talk to visitors.

The doctor treating Mr. Phuong said that the bullet the robber shot at Mr. Phuong broke into two pieces, and the core of the bullet that penetrated the patient's lower jaw bone was safely removed. Mr. Phuong needs time for the wound to heal.

The doctor examined Mr. Phuong's wound.

Mr. Phuong said that while trying to control the robber with the gun, he was hit by a bullet in the jawbone, and three other bullets missed his leg, thigh, and ribs. He had been trained in the profession before, so when he suddenly rushed in to control the robber, he did not have time to react, along with the support of branch staff and customers, so he was able to control the robber.
