The number of new Covid-19 cases in Hanoi in recent days has shown signs of increasing.
According to the Hanoi Department of Health , on April 12 and 13, the city recorded an average of 95 Covid-19 cases per day. Meanwhile, in March 2023, the city recorded an average of 8-10 Covid-19 cases per day. Cumulatively, the city has recorded 1,637,288 Covid-19 cases to date.
In Hanoi, those who need to get vaccinated against Covid-19 can contact up to 10 vaccination points.
Currently, the city is treating 330 Covid-19 patients, of which 156 are being treated in hospital (including 3 children under 5 years old) and 174 are being monitored, isolated and treated at home.
Regarding Covid-19 vaccination, on April 13, 348 injections were carried out, bringing the total number of injections to 21,584,045.
The Hanoi Department of Health affirmed that over the past time, Hanoi still has Covid-19 vaccines available to continue maintaining vaccination sites to serve the needs of the people.
It is expected that next week, Hanoi will receive more than 10,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine.
According to statistics, currently 99.9% of Hanoi's population aged 18 and over have received the full basic vaccination dose; 98.9% have received 3 doses and 84.6% have received the 4th dose. Particularly for the group of children aged 12 to under 18, the rate of children receiving the full basic vaccination dose has reached 99.9% and 58% of children in this group have completed 3 doses. For the group of children aged 5 to under 12, the current rate of receiving 2 basic vaccination doses is 57.6%.
