Temporarily suspend teachers who abuse preschool children

According to the decision of the People's Committee of Da Bac district ( Hoa Binh ), Ms. D.TA, a teacher at Hoa Mai Kindergarten, Da Bac town, was temporarily suspended from work for 15 days (from May 20) to serve the inspection and verification of child abuse.

According to a report from the Department of Education and Training of Da Bac district, on May 19, on social networking sites Facebook and Zalo, a parent shared a clip recording images of a female teacher committing acts of violence against preschool children.

The incident occurred at Hoa Mai Kindergarten, Da Bac town, attracting the attention, comments and shares of the people, causing public outrage.

After receiving the information, the People's Committee of Da Bac district directed the Department of Education and Training and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Bac town to work with the Board of Directors of Hoa Mai Kindergarten and the female teacher involved.

Through verification, the incident in the clip posted on social media occurred in the 2023-2024 school year. The female teacher appearing in the clip abusing preschool children is teacher D.TA.

At this time, Ms. A. and Ms. D.TH were assigned by the school to teach the 24-36 month old class. Female teacher D.TA then committed many acts of child abuse right in the classroom.

Working with the authorities, Ms. A. admitted her wrongdoings. The authorities advised the People's Committee of Da Bac district to issue a decision to temporarily suspend this teacher from work to continue to clarify the matter.

During the period of temporary suspension from work, based on the results of inspection and verification by the competent authority, if there is any violation, Ms. D.TA will be handled according to current regulations.

The People's Committee of Da Bac district also assigned the relevant authorities to urgently inspect and verify the responsibilities of the groups and individuals involved in the incident.
